Roofing website design that brings in estimate requests, not just visitors

Websites for roofing contractors, built in Michigan, with storm damage and replacement pages that rank, real before-and-after photos, and an estimate form short enough to finish on a phone.

What you get

What a new website should do for your business

Your site won’t be my first. Since 2016 I’ve delivered 154 Upwork jobs for more than 100 clients, and 94 of them were WordPress and Divi websites: new builds, redesigns and rebuilds for NewtonX, Keller Williams Realty Consultants, the Institute of Reading Development, the World Food Travel Association, Website HQ and Arlene P., among others. Every one is listed on my Upwork profile.

More calls from people searching nearby

A page for each service and each town you serve, schema markup, and your Google Business Profile connected, so the site shows up when neighbors search.

A price you know before work starts

A written, fixed quote after a free consultation. Sites start at $2,500 and the number does not creep once we agree on it.

One person, start to finish

I design it, build it, write it and launch it. When you call with a question, you reach the person who made the last change.

Website design

From $2,500 one-time

A five-page site for a service business sits near that number. More pages, copywriting, booking or a store add to it. You get a written, fixed quote after a free consultation. No contract lock-in.

A roofing website gets one look after a storm, and then it’s the next name

After a hailstorm or a wind event, homeowners search, open a few roofing websites, and request estimates from whoever looks real and makes it easy. That window is short, and every roofer in the area is in the results. The site that wins the estimate is the one that loads fast, shows real roofs in real towns, answers the insurance question, and has a form that takes under a minute.

The rest of the year is different. People planning a replacement take their time comparing roofers. They want materials, warranties, a sense of price, and proof you’ll still be around to honor the warranty. A good roofing website serves both, and most of them serve neither. The usual problems are one services page, stock photos, and a phone number you can’t tap. I built a roofing company site in 2016, so yours won’t be my first.

Roofing web design with separate pages for storm damage, replacement and repair

“Roof replacement,” “roof repair,” “hail damage roof” and “emergency roof tarp” are separate searches, so each gets its own page. A storm damage page covers what to look for after a storm, how an inspection works, and how you help with an insurance claim. A replacement page covers materials, tear-off versus overlay, warranties and financing. A repair page covers leaks, flashing and missing shingles, and when a repair stops making sense. Gutters, siding and skylights each get a page if you want that work.

Then a page for each town you actually work in, with real jobs from that town. A town page with photos of three roofs on nearby streets beats a template with the town name swapped every time.

Questions to settle before you pay for a roofing contractor website

How should the website handle insurance claims?

Plainly. Homeowners with storm damage want to know whether insurance covers it and whether you’ll deal with the adjuster. The storm damage page explains what you do (inspect, document the damage with photos, meet the adjuster if your process includes it, and give the homeowner a written estimate) and what they do (file the claim, pay the deductible). It doesn’t promise that insurance will pay, because you can’t, and a site that implies it invites trouble. If your state has rules about how roofers can talk about claims and deductibles, the copy follows them, and I’ll ask you to confirm what you’re allowed to say.

Do GAF or Owens Corning certifications belong on the site?

Yes, if you hold them. Manufacturer certifications like GAF’s contractor programs or the Owens Corning Preferred Contractor network tell a homeowner that you’ve met that manufacturer’s standards and can offer its extended warranties. They’re one of the few trust signals a stranger can check. I put the badge in the header or near the estimate form, explain on the replacement page what the certification means for the warranty, and use the manufacturer’s approved logo and wording. Only certifications you currently hold go on the site.

What should the estimate form ask for?

Name, phone, address, what’s going on (storm damage, leak, replacement, not sure), and an optional photo upload. That’s it. Every extra field, like roof age, square footage or budget, loses people who started filling it in, and you’ll ask those on the call anyway. The address lets you look at the roof on satellite before you call back. The photo lets you tell a repair from a replacement before you drive out. Submissions go to your email and, if you want, a text, so a Sunday-evening request after a storm doesn’t wait until Tuesday.

What do you need from me?

Your services, the towns you work in, your certifications, license and insurance details, warranty terms, and the questions homeowners ask before they sign. Before-and-after photos of real jobs with the town and a line about the work, because they’re the strongest thing on a roofing site. Access to your domain, current site and Google Business Profile. And a few hours across the project to read what I send and tell me where I got the trade wrong.

I’m in Harrison Township, in Macomb County. I build roofing websites for contractors in Michigan and other states, by phone, video call and email. For the bigger picture on contractor sites, see lead generation websites for contractors. If the site is already built and doesn’t rank, look at SEO for contractors or Michigan SEO. Costs are in my construction website cost guide, and my web design page shows how every project runs.

Send me your current site and the towns you want more roofs in. I’ll reply with what I’d change and a fixed written quote.

How it works

How a website project runs, from the first call to launch

  1. 01

    Discovery

A short questionnaire, then a call about your customers, your competitors and what a good month looks like.

  2. 02

    Design

I design the homepage first. You approve the direction before I build the rest.

  3. 03

    Build and launch

Every page built and tested on real phones. Every old page redirected, so the rankings you have carry over.

  4. 04

    After launch

I stay around for questions and changes. If you want updates handled for you, that is my management plan.

Who you'd work with

The web designer and local SEO consultant you'll actually talk to

I'm Ryan York, and WebPossible is a one-person web design and SEO company in Harrison Township, Macomb County. I learned the work as a scuba diver in the Florida Keys, tired of waiting on the person who ran our website, which is why I think about the phone ringing first and the design second. There's no team to hand you off to. The person who answers your first call is the person who designs your website, builds it and checks your rankings.

I hired Ryan to help improve the SEO of my business website and he has been so easy to work with from the time I submitted my inquiry through the finishing touches. He is extremely responsive, organized in his approach, and thoughtful in his execution. I had many questions that I threw at Ryan, and he was able to answer them all, which made me feel really good about the entire process. Since the initial work started, I have added on more page updates because I am already seeing positive results. I look forward to continuing to work with Ryan and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other business owners that I know!

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about my web design process and pricing

Have you built a website for a roofing company before?

Yes. Every roofing site I build starts from how homeowners actually search for the work: storm damage, repair, replacement and the towns they live in.

How much does a roofing website cost?

Mine start at $2,500, with a fixed written quote before I start. More service and town pages, copywriting, a large photo gallery and financing add to it. My construction website cost guide covers the details.

Should I show roofing prices on my website?

A range helps. Homeowners know a new roof is expensive and want to know whether it's closer to one number or another. Say what moves the price (size, pitch, tear-off layers, materials) and that the estimate is free. You don't have to commit to a number you can't hold.

Can I add new project photos myself?

Yes. I set up the gallery so you can upload photos from your phone, add the town and a line about the job, and they show up on the gallery and the matching town page.
