What you get

What a new website should do for your business

Your site won’t be my first. Since 2016 I’ve delivered 154 Upwork jobs for more than 100 clients, and 94 of them were WordPress and Divi websites: new builds, redesigns and rebuilds for NewtonX, Keller Williams Realty Consultants, the Institute of Reading Development, the World Food Travel Association, Website HQ and Arlene P., among others. Every one is listed on my Upwork profile.

More calls from people searching nearby

A page for each service and each town you serve, schema markup, and your Google Business Profile connected, so the site shows up when neighbors search.

A price you know before work starts

A written, fixed quote after a free consultation. Sites start at $2,500 and the number does not creep once we agree on it.

One person, start to finish

I design it, build it, write it and launch it. When you call with a question, you reach the person who made the last change.

From $2,500 one-time

A five-page site for a service business sits near that number. More pages, copywriting, booking or a store add to it. You get a written, fixed quote after a free consultation. No contract lock-in.

Who’s searching in Clinton Township, and what they want to see

Clinton Township had 100,513 people in the 2020 census. That makes it the most populous township in Michigan and the eighth most populous community in the state, bigger than plenty of cities. It wraps around the north and east sides of Mount Clemens and runs into Sterling Heights, Macomb Township, Chesterfield, Fraser, Roseville and St. Clair Shores.

A market that size means more competition for the same searches. If you’re a roofer, dentist or accountant here, plenty of others in the township want the same customer, and Google shows only three in the map pack. Your website and your Google Business Profile are most of what decides which three.

Who’s searching depends on which part of the township you’re in:

  • Shoppers and students on Hall Road. People coming from across the county who compare a few results on a phone before they pick a lane.
  • Patients near 19 Mile. Searching by specialty, insurance and how far you are from the hospital.
  • Drivers on Gratiot. Looking you up before they turn in, so hours, reviews and a phone number need to be the first things they see.
  • Homeowners everywhere else. Comparing you with contractors from Sterling Heights, Macomb Township and the other neighbors for the same job.

Two things about Clinton Township that change how I build

Why is the township several markets at once?

Clinton Township doesn’t have one downtown. Business clusters along a few long corridors, and each one draws a different customer.

Hall Road (M-59) is the retail spine. The Mall at Partridge Creek opened at 17420 Hall Road in 2007, and Macomb Community College’s Center Campus sits at Hall and Garfield. Businesses here compete for shoppers and students coming from across the county.

19 Mile is the medical corridor. Henry Ford Macomb Hospital is at 15855 19 Mile Road, and the medical and dental practices nearby compete for patients who search by specialty, insurance and distance.

Gratiot Avenue (M-3) crosses the township, including the Broad Acres area between 15 Mile and Quinn roads. Drivers on a road this busy look you up before they turn in, so your hours, reviews and phone number need to be easy to find.

I write the corridor into the site. A practice says it’s on 19 Mile near the hospital. A shop says it’s on Hall near Partridge Creek. That’s how people here describe where things are, and it’s what they type.

Why do people say their ZIP code or school district before Clinton Township?

The township is split across three ZIP codes (48035, 48036 and 48038) and at least five school districts, including Chippewa Valley, Clintondale and L’Anse Creuse. People describe where they live by ZIP or school district as often as by township, so your service-area pages should use the same names they do.

There’s a second reason to be precise. Michigan has several places named Clinton. There’s a Clinton Township in Lenawee County and another in Oscoda County. If your site and your Google Business Profile just say “Clinton,” Google sometimes has to guess. I spell out Clinton Township, Macomb County, and add your ZIP code and the roads you’re near, so the right searches find you and the wrong ones don’t.

What I build for Clinton Township businesses

Tell me what your business does and where, and you get a written, fixed quote. No contract lock-in.

  • A homepage that says what you do and that you’re in Clinton Township, in the first line
  • Click-to-call, a short quote form, and directions that name the closest major roads, like Hall, Garfield, Gratiot or 19 Mile
  • A Google Business Profile that matches your site exactly ($400 one-time for Google Business Profile optimization)
  • Pages for each service, plus the nearby areas you serve, like Mount Clemens, Harrison Township, Sterling Heights and Macomb Township
  • Fast pages that work on a phone

A medical practice with several providers, a restaurant with online ordering, or a contractor who needs a page for each service and each town will cost more than a five-page site, and the pricing guides break down what drives that by industry. If you’re a contractor, my page on lead generation websites for contractors goes into what those sites need.

I’m in Harrison Township, about 8 miles from the middle of Clinton Township, so you won’t have to explain where Partridge Creek is or which Clinton you mean.

How it works

How a website project runs, from the first call to launch

  1. 01

    Discovery

A short questionnaire, then a call about your customers, your competitors and what a good month looks like.

  2. 02

    Design

I design the homepage first. You approve the direction before I build the rest.

  3. 03

    Build and launch

Every page built and tested on real phones. Every old page redirected, so the rankings you have carry over.

  4. 04

    After launch

I stay around for questions and changes. If you want updates handled for you, that is my management plan.

Who you'd work with

The web designer and local SEO consultant you'll actually talk to

I'm Ryan York, and WebPossible is a one-person web design and SEO company in Harrison Township, Macomb County. I learned the work as a scuba diver in the Florida Keys, tired of waiting on the person who ran our website, which is why I think about the phone ringing first and the design second. There's no team to hand you off to. The person who answers your first call is the person who designs your website, builds it and checks your rankings.

I hired Ryan to help improve the SEO of my business website and he has been so easy to work with from the time I submitted my inquiry through the finishing touches. He is extremely responsive, organized in his approach, and thoughtful in his execution. I had many questions that I threw at Ryan, and he was able to answer them all, which made me feel really good about the entire process. Since the initial work started, I have added on more page updates because I am already seeing positive results. I look forward to continuing to work with Ryan and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other business owners that I know!

FAQ

Questions from Clinton Township business owners

How do we work together if you're in Harrison Township?

By phone, video call and email. That's how I run every project, so you don't lose anything by not sitting in the same room. I'm close enough to know Hall Road from Gratiot without a map.

How much does a website cost for a Clinton Township small business?

My sites start at $2,500. A simple site for a service business sits near that number. More pages, copywriting, booking or payments add to it. You get a fixed written quote before I start.

Google keeps showing my business for the wrong Clinton. Can you fix that?

Usually. Michigan has more than one Clinton Township. I make sure your site, your schema markup and your Google Business Profile all say Clinton Township, Macomb County, with your ZIP code, so Google has no reason to guess.

I'm a medical practice near Henry Ford Macomb. What matters most on my site?

That patients can tell in a few seconds that you take their insurance, where you are relative to the hospital on 19 Mile, and how to book. Put your providers on the page with real photos.

Do you also do SEO for Clinton Township businesses?

Yes. Local SEO starts at $2,000 a month, month to month with no lock-in.
