More calls from people searching nearby
A page for each service and each town you serve, schema markup, and your Google Business Profile connected, so the site shows up when neighbors search.
I redesign small business websites so they look current and bring in calls, without throwing away the pages, links and Google rankings your old site took years to earn.
What you get
Your site won’t be my first. Since 2016 I’ve delivered 154 Upwork jobs for more than 100 clients, and 94 of them were WordPress and Divi websites: new builds, redesigns and rebuilds for NewtonX, Keller Williams Realty Consultants, the Institute of Reading Development, the World Food Travel Association, Website HQ and Arlene P., among others. Every one is listed on my Upwork profile.

A written, fixed quote after a free consultation. Sites start at $2,500 and the number does not creep once we agree on it.
I design it, build it, write it and launch it. When you call with a question, you reach the person who made the last change.

A five-page site for a service business sits near that number. More pages, copywriting, booking or a store add to it. You get a written, fixed quote after a free consultation. No contract lock-in.
Not every tired-looking site needs a redesign. Some need a rebuild. Some should be left alone.
Leave it alone if it brings in calls, ranks for the searches that matter, and works on a phone. Dated looks cost less than people think. Fix the few pages that leak and keep going.
Redesign if the content and structure are mostly sound but the site looks old, is slow, is hard to use on a phone, or makes it hard to call. You keep the pages that rank, the addresses that have links pointing to them, and the platform if it’s working. The design, the layout and the weak pages change.
Rebuild if the problem is underneath: one page trying to rank for everything, a platform you can’t edit or move, a builder that locks you in, or a site so broken that patching costs more than starting over. A rebuild still keeps what ranks. It just doesn’t keep the frame.
I’ll tell you which one I think you need after looking at the site and its Search Console data, even if the answer is the cheap one.
The most common way a redesign hurts a business: pages get new addresses, nobody sets up redirects, and the old addresses Google ranked and other sites linked to now show an error. Traffic falls, and the new site gets blamed for something that happened at launch. The second most common: the content that ranked gets trimmed for a cleaner look, and the rankings go with it.
So every redesign starts with an audit. I pull every page the site has, with its traffic, rankings and links from Search Console and analytics. Each page gets a decision: keep, improve, merge or drop. Then a redirect map, a list matching every old address to its new home, so a link from 2015 still lands somewhere useful. At launch the redirects go live, I check them, and I watch Search Console for errors afterward.
That’s the part you can’t see on a new design, and it’s the part that decides whether the redesign brings in more calls or fewer. I’ve built and redesigned a lot of WordPress sites: 94 of my Upwork jobs have been WordPress and Divi work, new sites and redesigns among them. CPA on Fire’s redesign in 2022 turned into ongoing management. ATIP Law’s theme change and redesign ran across 2016 and 2017. And I’ve done Divi redesigns as small as a single blog, like one for Michel P. in 2021.
Page count first. A ten-page site and a sixty-page site with a blog are different projects, because every page has to be reviewed, redirected and rebuilt. Then copy: keeping your current text costs less than rewriting it, though most redesigns rewrite at least the homepage and the main service pages. Then the platform: staying on WordPress costs less than moving from a builder or an old custom system, where content has to be moved by hand. Then features: booking, payments, a store, member areas or integrations with other software. Finally, the state of what’s there. A site with hundreds of thin pages or a hacked install needs cleanup before the redesign starts. You get a fixed written quote that lists every one of these, so the price doesn’t move once I start.
It stays live and keeps doing its job. I build the redesign on a separate staging copy that only you and I can see, so you can review it on your own phone and laptop before anything changes for your customers. When it’s approved, I switch the live site over, turn on the redirects and check every page. If something unexpected shows up after launch, the old version is backed up and can be restored.
Usually less than you’d expect. The audit shows which pages bring in traffic and calls, and those keep their substance, even if I tighten the wording and the headings. Pages nobody visits get merged or dropped. The pages that need new writing are typically the homepage, the main service pages, and any service or town you want to rank for and don’t have a page for yet. I can write all of it from a call with you, or edit what you write. Either way, nothing that ranks is cut without a reason you’ve agreed to.

If you’d rather keep the design and just get it maintained, see WordPress website management. If the redesign is about rankings more than looks, start with Michigan SEO. For what a new site costs in your industry, see my pricing guides, and my web design page covers how every project runs.
Send me the address of your current site. I’ll look at it and its rankings and tell you whether it needs a redesign, a rebuild or nothing at all.
How it works
A short questionnaire, then a call about your customers, your competitors and what a good month looks like.
I design the homepage first. You approve the direction before I build the rest.
Every page built and tested on real phones. Every old page redirected, so the rankings you have carry over.
I stay around for questions and changes. If you want updates handled for you, that is my management plan.

Who you'd work with
I'm Ryan York, and WebPossible is a one-person web design and SEO company in Harrison Township, Macomb County. I learned the work as a scuba diver in the Florida Keys, tired of waiting on the person who ran our website, which is why I think about the phone ringing first and the design second. There's no team to hand you off to. The person who answers your first call is the person who designs your website, builds it and checks your rankings.
Reviews
5.0 stars from 30 Google reviews, 5.0 from 5 verified Clutch reviews, and 83 client reviews on Upwork since 2016. 6 of the 13 I quote in full, with the source linked.
I hired Ryan to help improve the SEO of my business website and he has been so easy to work with from the time I submitted my inquiry through the finishing touches. He is extremely responsive, organized in his approach, and thoughtful in his execution. I had many questions that I threw at Ryan, and he was able to answer them all, which made me feel really good about the entire process. Since the initial work started, I have added on more page updates because I am already seeing positive results. I look forward to continuing to work with Ryan and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other business owners that I know!
Communication is key, and that's his strong suit.

I have used Ryan for many years and on many client websites, he has always been responsive, efficient and been great to work with. With his expertise, he has been able to facilitate creating websites I am proud of, and I have always been able to count on him. I trust him completely and have recommended him to my past clients for ongoing work.
Ryan was a perfect fit. He's my first call if I ever need any help establishing or increasing my online footprint.
Ryan had excellent attention to detail and delivered with quality and speed when necessary.
FAQ
My redesigns start at $2,500, the same floor as a new site, with a fixed written quote before I start. The number moves with how many pages you have, how much of the copy needs rewriting, whether the platform changes, and features like booking or a store.
You can, if pages move without redirects or the content that ranked gets cut. You shouldn't, if every old address is mapped to its new page, the content that ranks is kept, and the launch is checked in Search Console afterward. Rankings can wobble briefly after any launch. A careful redesign keeps that wobble small.
Yes. A WordPress redesign can keep WordPress and change the theme, the layout and the content. Moving platforms only makes sense if the current one is holding you back.
Yes. The domain stays yours and nothing about your email changes. I work on a copy of the site and switch it over at launch.
