I build websites for West Bloomfield practices, shops and service businesses that need to win the searches happening on Orchard Lake and Maple roads.
What you get
Your site won’t be my first. Since 2016 I’ve delivered 154 Upwork jobs for more than 100 clients, and 94 of them were WordPress and Divi websites: new builds, redesigns and rebuilds for NewtonX, Keller Williams Realty Consultants, the Institute of Reading Development, the World Food Travel Association, Website HQ and Arlene P., among others. Every one is listed on my Upwork profile.

A five-page site for a service business sits near that number. More pages, copywriting, booking or a store add to it. You get a written, fixed quote after a free consultation. No contract lock-in.
West Bloomfield Township had 65,888 people in the 2020 census. It sits in Oakland County about 27 miles northwest of downtown Detroit, between Bloomfield Township to the east, Farmington Hills to the south, Commerce Township to the west and Waterford to the north.
Residents sometimes call it the “lake township of Oakland County.” Small and medium lakes are scattered all over it. Pine Lake sits entirely inside the township, part of Cass Lake (the largest lake in the county) is too, and Orchard Lake is ringed by the separate city of Orchard Lake Village. West Bloomfield, Orchard Lake Village, Keego Harbor and Sylvan Lake together make up what’s known as Greater West Bloomfield.
The people searching here are mostly residents, not visitors: a family off Maple looking for a pediatric dentist, a lakefront homeowner who needs a roof replaced, someone comparing the three salons in the same plaza. They search with a service and a place, they compare on a phone, and the business that says plainly what it does and where it sits gets the call.
Orchard Lake Road runs north and south through the middle of the township, and it’s the main artery of West Bloomfield’s economy along with West Maple (15 Mile). Both are lined with strip centers and shopping complexes, alongside boutiques and upscale restaurants.
That layout shapes how people find you. A customer searching from a lakefront home or a subdivision off Maple is comparing several businesses in the same plaza or the next one down the road. Proximity counts for less when everyone is a few minutes apart, so your Google Business Profile, your reviews and your website do more of the deciding. The site has to make clear what you do, who you serve and why you over the three similar businesses in the next strip center. I write directions that name the nearest crossroads on Orchard Lake or Maple and the plaza you’re in, because “on Orchard Lake Road” describes half the businesses in the township.
The township’s 2026 budget lists its top employers as Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital (1,937 employees), West Bloomfield Schools (624) and the township itself (354). If you run a practice that gets referrals from the hospital or serves its staff, your site should say plainly where you are relative to it and how to book. A physical therapy clinic, a pharmacy or a lunch spot near the hospital gets a different kind of search than one across the township, and the page can say so.
For everyone else, the point is that West Bloomfield’s customers are mostly its own residents and the people who work here. The site should read like it was written for them, with the roads, plazas and lakes they’d recognize, instead of copy that could be about any suburb.
West Bloomfield is served by seven school districts, more than any other municipality in Oakland County: West Bloomfield, Waterford, Farmington, Birmingham, Pontiac, Walled Lake and Bloomfield Hills. Its addresses span ZIP codes 48302, 48320, 48322 through 48325 and 48328.
For family-focused businesses, like tutors, daycares, pediatric practices and youth sports, that patchwork matters. Many families search by district and by ZIP, so your service-area pages should use those names, and the Google Business Profile service area should cover the same ground. A tutor who serves Walled Lake and West Bloomfield families gets a page for each, with the schools named on it, instead of one page that says “serving Oakland County.”
I won’t pretend to know West Bloomfield the way I know my own township, so I research your corridor, your competitors and your search terms before I design anything.
I’m in Harrison Township, about 43 miles away on the Macomb County side, and every project runs by phone, video call and email. If you also want ongoing SEO, my local SEO service starts at $2,000 a month, month to month with no lock-in.

A practice with several providers, online booking or patient forms costs more, and so does a store. You get a fixed written quote before I start, and you own your domain, your site and your Google Business Profile. My pricing guides break down the cost by industry.
How it works
A short questionnaire, then a call about your customers, your competitors and what a good month looks like.
I design the homepage first. You approve the direction before I build the rest.
Every page built and tested on real phones. Every old page redirected, so the rankings you have carry over.
I stay around for questions and changes. If you want updates handled for you, that is my management plan.

Who you'd work with
I'm Ryan York, and WebPossible is a one-person web design and SEO company in Harrison Township, Macomb County. I learned the work as a scuba diver in the Florida Keys, tired of waiting on the person who ran our website, which is why I think about the phone ringing first and the design second. There's no team to hand you off to. The person who answers your first call is the person who designs your website, builds it and checks your rankings.
Reviews
5.0 stars from 30 Google reviews, 5.0 from 5 verified Clutch reviews, and 83 client reviews on Upwork since 2016. 6 of the 13 I quote in full, with the source linked.
I hired Ryan to help improve the SEO of my business website and he has been so easy to work with from the time I submitted my inquiry through the finishing touches. He is extremely responsive, organized in his approach, and thoughtful in his execution. I had many questions that I threw at Ryan, and he was able to answer them all, which made me feel really good about the entire process. Since the initial work started, I have added on more page updates because I am already seeing positive results. I look forward to continuing to work with Ryan and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other business owners that I know!
Communication is key, and that's his strong suit.

FAQ
Not for the work. Every project I run happens by phone, video call and email, whether the client is a mile away or an hour away. West Bloomfield is about an hour's drive from me, and you'd see no difference in how the project goes.
My sites start at $2,500. A simple site for a professional practice or service business sits near that number. More pages, copywriting, booking, payments or a store add to it. You get a fixed written quote before I start.
Use your real city first, since that's what your address and Google Business Profile say. Then mention West Bloomfield where you serve it, because a lot of people refer to the whole area that way.
Only the ones your customers care about. Seven school districts serve the township, so "West Bloomfield schools" means different things to different families. Tutors, daycares and family businesses do better naming the specific districts they serve.
Yes. Maps rankings depend mostly on your Google Business Profile, backed by a site that matches it. My Google Business Profile optimization is $400 one-time.
