What you get
Your site won’t be my first. Since 2016 I’ve delivered 154 Upwork jobs for more than 100 clients, and 94 of them were WordPress and Divi websites: new builds, redesigns and rebuilds for NewtonX, Keller Williams Realty Consultants, the Institute of Reading Development, the World Food Travel Association, Website HQ and Arlene P., among others. Every one is listed on my Upwork profile.

A five-page site for a service business sits near that number. More pages, copywriting, booking or a store add to it. You get a written, fixed quote after a free consultation. No contract lock-in.
Patients judge a clinic by its website, and that pressure is how clinics end up overpaying. A professional aesthetic clinic website costs about $5,100–$14,500 from a freelancer and $11,600–$34,800 from an agency, according to Project Cost Estimator’s med spa figures. Smaller local studios quote below that. Here’s how it breaks down:
| Option | Typical cost | What drives it | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| DIY builder | $19–$99/mo billed annually ($25–$139 month to month) | Plan tier, product sales | Squarespace pricing |
| Freelancer in metro Detroit | $1,500–$4,500 | Standard small business site | Marketing by Magnet, Detroit 2026 rates |
| Freelance build, med spa scope | $5,100–$14,500 | Galleries, treatment menu, booking, memberships | Project Cost Estimator, med spa (updated July 2026) |
| Agency build | $11,600–$34,800 | Same scope, higher overhead | Project Cost Estimator, med spa |
| Photography and galleries | $1,000–$2,500 | Custom shoot, before-and-after galleries | Project Cost Estimator, med spa |
| HIPAA-safe consent forms | $400–$1,200 to build | Encrypted form provider with a BAA | Project Cost Estimator, med spa |
| Ongoing running costs | $60–$300/mo | Mostly the booking and membership platform | Project Cost Estimator, med spa |
Project Cost Estimator says its figures come from more than 600 project quotes and rate benchmarks. Marketing by Magnet’s Detroit range covers small business sites in general, not clinics specifically, so it’s a floor rather than a target.
The treatment menu. Neurotoxins, fillers, lasers, skin treatments and body contouring are separate searches, and each needs its own page explaining what it is, who it suits, downtime and price. That’s where most of the writing and design goes.
Galleries. A before-and-after gallery that’s easy to browse by treatment takes design work, and it only works with good, consistent photos.
Booking and memberships. Clinics that sell memberships or packages need the site to explain them and hand off cleanly to the booking platform. The more of that flow lives on the site, the higher the build cost.
A product store. Selling skincare online means a store, product pages, shipping and tax settings. Project Cost Estimator lists a store as one of the bigger scope increases.
Design expectations. A template with your logo on it tends to look like every other clinic in town. Custom design costs more and is usually worth it here.
This is general information, not legal advice. Ask your attorney or compliance advisor how the rules apply to your clinic.
Intake and consult forms. If a form asks about medical history, medications or skin conditions, it should go through a form provider that signs a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) and encrypts submissions. Jotform, for example, offers HIPAA features only on its Gold plan ($99 a month billed annually, $129 month to month) and Enterprise.
Tracking and ads. If you run ads, the ad platforms will ask you to add their tracking pixels. In June 2024 a federal court in Texas vacated part of HHS’s guidance that had restricted tracking tools capturing IP addresses on public pages, and HHS dropped its appeal that August, according to the American Hospital Association. The ruling dealt with public pages. Booking flows and patient logins are a separate question, so I keep ad pixels off those pages unless your advisor signs off.
Looks get a clinic site to the shortlist. Consults come from a page for each treatment people search for, written for someone comparing clinics on a phone (what it is, who it suits, downtime, a starting price, and a booking button that goes straight to that appointment type), and from a Google Business Profile that matches the site on name, address, phone number and services, because for “Botox near me” the map listing shows up before the website does.
Then the path to a booking has to be short. If a guest has to call during business hours to ask what a treatment costs, a lot of them call the next clinic instead.
Your treatment menu with starting prices, and which treatments you want more of. Before-and-after photos with signed consent for each, plus photos of the space and the people who do the work. The login for your booking platform, so the buttons hand off correctly. The name of whoever is clinically responsible, because they review every treatment page before it goes live. Logins for your domain and current site, if you have one. And a few hours across the project to review what I send. Most clinics have me write the pages, and you approve every word.
Tell me what your business does and where, and you get a written, fixed quote. No contract lock-in.

From my own projects (my estimate, not a survey), a clinic with a full treatment menu, galleries and a booking hand-off lands above that floor, and a product store adds more. You get a fixed written quote after a free consultation, before any work starts.
Website management is $99 a month, month to month, no lock-in. It covers updates, backups, security and small changes like a new treatment or seasonal special. You own your domain and site.

How it works
A short questionnaire, then a call about your customers, your competitors and what a good month looks like.
I design the homepage first. You approve the direction before I build the rest.
Every page built and tested on real phones. Every old page redirected, so the rankings you have carry over.
I stay around for questions and changes. If you want updates handled for you, that is my management plan.

Who you'd work with
I'm Ryan York, and WebPossible is a one-person web design and SEO company in Harrison Township, Macomb County. I learned the work as a scuba diver in the Florida Keys, tired of waiting on the person who ran our website, which is why I think about the phone ringing first and the design second. There's no team to hand you off to. The person who answers your first call is the person who designs your website, builds it and checks your rankings.
Reviews
5.0 stars from 30 Google reviews, 5.0 from 5 verified Clutch reviews, and 83 client reviews on Upwork since 2016. 6 of the 13 I quote in full, with the source linked.
I hired Ryan to help improve the SEO of my business website and he has been so easy to work with from the time I submitted my inquiry through the finishing touches. He is extremely responsive, organized in his approach, and thoughtful in his execution. I had many questions that I threw at Ryan, and he was able to answer them all, which made me feel really good about the entire process. Since the initial work started, I have added on more page updates because I am already seeing positive results. I look forward to continuing to work with Ryan and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to other business owners that I know!
Communication is key, and that's his strong suit.
Ryan was phenomenal to work with! He asked great questions, understood our project, and delivered without issue and right on schedule. I definitely will re-hire and recommend him.
I have used Ryan for many years and on many client websites, he has always been responsive, efficient and been great to work with. With his expertise, he has been able to facilitate creating websites I am proud of, and I have always been able to count on him. I trust him completely and have recommended him to my past clients for ongoing work.
Ryan was a perfect fit. He's my first call if I ever need any help establishing or increasing my online footprint.
Ryan had excellent attention to detail and delivered with quality and speed when necessary.
FAQ
It depends on how your clinic is set up and operates, and that's a question for your attorney or compliance advisor. This isn't legal advice. I build every clinic site as if patient privacy rules apply, because consult and intake forms ask for health information either way.
I'd at least publish starting prices for your main treatments. People comparing Botox or filler clinics look for a number before they book a consult. If prices vary by patient, say so and give the range.
Usually, yes. If you already pay for a booking platform, I connect the site's buttons to it. Project Cost Estimator puts platforms like Boulevard or Vagaro at $150–$300 a month, and that's most of a clinic's ongoing website cost.
Get written patient consent for each photo, and have your advisor review what the consent form covers. On the build side, a gallery adds design work, and good photos matter more than the layout.
